This Caramel Tahini Popcorn made a splash at the SESAME cookbook launch—and yep, lucky for us, the recipe’s in the book.

It’s made with @seedandmill tahini, @bjornqorn popcorn, and #CaraSelCaramel. Sweet, salty, roasty-toasty&mdas
Oregano time. 🌿 We’ve been harvesting and drying our own for years now and haven’t bought a jar since. The flavor? Way more intense than anything I used to get at the store—and it couldn’t be easier.

The tastier side of market prep.

This weekend come say hi, sample some caramel, and see if you can catch me sneaking bites of this ridiculously good Pistachio + Whipped Feta dip (recipe from @seedandmill’s Sesame). πŸ‘€ #AlbanyTulipFestival #Se
Prepping the mix-ins for one of this weekend’s treats: chunks of #CaraSelCaramel, toasted pecans, and pretzels. These’ll be folded into brown butter blondies for the Albany Tulip Festival—come grab one while they last. πŸ€— #caramel #

Annual rhubarb appreciation post. First harvest: nearly nine pounds (from just three crowns!). πŸ©·πŸ’š

Dinner tonight: our beef, homegrown asparagus, and spicy sesame noodles—the first recipe I’ve tried from Rachel Simons’ beautiful new cookbook, Sesame. Ten outta ten, no notes. #ArdenCows #spargelzeit #HudsonValley #HomesteadLife
Time for fresh digs for our newest peeps. πŸ₯ #ArdenBirds #MovingDay #HudsonValley #Homesteading
Violet and Tam, lounging in the sun-drenched, lush pasture with the rest of the #ArdenCows (they rejoined the herd a few days ago—#CowTV backlog coming soon!).
Last night I went to a Cookbook Club program at my library (don’t you just LOVE libraries?!?!). The theme was spring appetizers. Thank you, #ArdenBirds, for your contribution. πŸ’›
Meet Tam. Born Sunday under blue skies, he’s now getting his first taste of (April!) snow. Violet is a calm and watchful mama, and the sheep are proving to be good company—at least until he’s ready to romp with Rabbie.
