Snack Fix™ started when I set out to create a snack that combined Cara-Sel™, my handcrafted salted caramel sauce, with garlic for the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival. After nearly nine (tasty) attempts, it was clear when I landed on the perfect formula.

When Snack Fix debuted at the end of 2023, it was an overwhelming success, to the point where, as a solo maker, I still can’t keep up with demand. This is why I keep it exclusive—available only at in-person events and through occasional online drops for newsletter subscribers. Needless to say, I don’t wholesale it. But when my friends at Rushing Duck Brewery asked to serve it in their tasting room, I couldn’t say no.

I’ve been a regular at Rushing Duck since they opened in 2012. Back then, the tasting room was tiny, the tap list was shorter, and the only way to take beer home was in a growler. They’ve grown, but what hasn’t changed is their commitment to brewing excellent beer and fostering a great community.

Rushing Duck is so near and dear to my heart that I even mentioned them in a recent interview with The Mountains magazine (with a shoutout to Neenee’s Kitchen, an incredible Thai pop-up you can often find whipping up incredible food at the brewery).
